Wordpress is an open-source blogging tool. It can be host on Wordpress.com or on a separate server. Wordpress can be used as a content management system for a Web site.

Wordpress sites can easily change themes for distinct looks. Additionally, functionality can be improved with unique plug-ins.

It is possible to install multiple instances of Wordpress on Web servers, as well as, have multiple sites on Wordpress.com.

Wordpress is a Web-based application. It can be hosted on wordpress.com or on a Web capable server. Access to the program is through a Webased portal.
