Description

Foursquare is a location-based mobile application that allows participants to share their location with friends. Individuals earn points and virtual badges for "checking in" and can leave tips and suggestions about businesses they frequent. The individual who checks into an establishment most often becomes the "Mayor."

Each week, there is a new leader board where friends can compare results.

Essential Requirements

Foursquare is intended to be used from a mobile device, e.g., smart phone, iPad, phone with a Web browser, etc. However, you can also check into Foursquare with a computer.

Equipment

The only required equipment is a device to access the Internet. This can be a phone, iPad, or computer.
