Access File Installation

The access file allows an easy way to log onto the CES Reporting system. The user ID and password are entered one time using this method. When the home page method is used, the user ID and password must be entered each time.

  1. Create a file folder on the C:\ drive named CESR.
  2. Click the Access File link. The Save As dialog box opens.
  3. Navigate to the C:\CESR folder.
  4. Click the Save button. If necessary, click the Close button when the download is complete.
  5. Left-click the Start button.
  6. Click My Computer.
  7. Click the C:\ or local disk.
  8. Open the CESR folder.
  9. Right-click the UCESRAccess.exe file.
  10. From the shortcut menu, click Send to > Desktop (create shortcut).
  11. Double-click the UCESRAccess.exe file.
  12. Type WY in the state field.
  13. Type the user ID.
  14. Type the password.


The user ID and password are case-sensitive. Please call Communications and Technology at 307-766-3702 or 307-766-3194 if there are problems with a user ID and/or password.

  1. Click the Save Parameters button.
  2. Click the Logon to button to open to the CES Reporting site.

Backup Data

Each user can back up their data on the CES reporting system to a local hard drive. The backup process creates a text delimited file that can be opened in Excel or Word. Backing up data is an option.

  1. Log on to CES Reporting.
  2. Click Archive. The Archive screen displays. See Figure 1.
  3. Caption Figure 1.

  4. Click the Data box.
  5. Click the Create Backup File button. This will take a little time. Please be patient until the hourglass disappears.
  6. The Download Backup File button is enabled when the backup file has been created.
  7. Click the Download Backup File button.
  8. Navigate to the folder where the file is to be saved.


The only location where the system will restore a backup file from is C:\CKV\Webxfer.

Direct Access

Users can attain direct access to the CES Reporting web site at any time, from any computer via the Internet. The web address is

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Enter in the Address box.
  3. Click Select User State.
  4. By default, Wyoming is highlighted.
  5. Click I have selected my state.
  6. Enter the user ID and password.
    Note: Contact Communications and Technology at 307-766-3702 or 307-766-3194 for a user ID and password.
  7. Click Submit.
  8. It is recommended that the password be changed so other users cannot access the information.
