Description
Flip Video Camera is a portable video camera that runs on 2 AA batteries with a USB computer connector. The cameras have a small LCD screen to view what is being recorded. All cameras record with a 1280 X 720 resolution at a rate of 30 to 60 frames per second.
The video format is H.264 video compression, AAC audio compression, MP4 files format.
The lens type is fixed-focus (1.5m to infinity) with a f/2.4 (fast lens for great results in low-light environments) aperture and a smooth multi-step 2x digital zoom.

Essential Requirements
The Flip Camera will work on a Mac or PC computer with a USB port. Flip videos can be downloaded with the Flip Camera software or videos can be downloaded directly to a computer with a file sharing software.
Equipment
The only required equipment is the Flip camera and a computer with a USB port.
theFlip.com does have accessories for the Flip camera to extend its capabilities such as a wide angle lens, tripod, underwater housing, and power adapter.
Flipshare TV lets you watch your flip videos on your TV or HDTV.
