UW Extension offers best trees for Wyoming session in Cody

Sandra Frost

Selecting trees appropriate for Wyoming conditions will be discussed Tuesday, Oct. 30, in Cody.

The session by Brian Russell, assistant district forester in the Office of State Lands and Investments, begins at 7p.m. in the Barling room of the Park County Courthouse.

“The list of successful tree species in Wyoming is defined by two factors – Wyoming’s alkaline soils and desert climate,” said Sandra Frost, UW Extension educator. “Improve your property by selecting trees that will do well here.”
