A ServSafe manager’s certification course is being offered in Rock Springs Thursday, May 17, according to the University of Wyoming Extension.
Pre-registration deadline is April 17, and space is limited, said Josefina Ibarra, nutrition and food safety educator in Sweetwater County. UW Extension, the Wyoming Department of Health and Wyoming Department of Agriculture are presenting the course.
The class is in room 1445 at Western Wyoming Community College and is intended for food service managers, manager trainees, front line supervisors, restaurant owners or anyone wanting food-service management certification on food safety.
A $127 per person fee covers the cost of the course book and materials, and participants should read the textbook prior to training to better prepare for the exam, Ibarra said.
