CES educator joins Laramie County extension office

An educator with emphasis in community development will join the Laramie County University of Wyoming Cooperative Extension Service (UW CES) office.

Juliet Daniels begins Sept. 5 in the Cheyenne office and will serve Goshen, Laramie and Platte counties.

“We were specifically looking for a candidate with a strong background in group process to assist residents in this three-county area,” said Susan James, UW CES federal relations and staff development coordinator. “Her education and experience will be a great addition to the area team.”

The Community Development Education initiative team works with individuals and groups in leadership and board development, mediation and conflict resolution, communication and personal finance.

Daniels received a master’s degree in agricultural economics from the University of Wyoming in 1997 and a bachelor’s degree in agricultural business from Colorado State University in 1992. She was born in San Francisco, raised in the Los Angeles area and has called Wyoming home since 1993.

Daniels has worked the last two years as a project director for the Educational Talent Search program with UW. Prior to that, she was an economic development director with the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce and a product development manager for AgTerra Technologies Inc. in Sheridan.
